Eastern Medicine Based 10 Day Cleanse Begins April 1
Hit the reset button on your digestion. Get clarity on how and what to eat.
Do you feel confused about what to eat?
You’re not alone. That’s the number one question I get daily in the clinic. We are inundated with conflicting information and it’s difficult to know where to turn for the truth. Grounded in the ages old scientific wisdom of Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, there is no guessing as to what is the correct dietary information being given. It is all perfectly laid out for us to follow.
In this 10 day cleanse, we will hit the reset button on your diet and digestion. You will:
Determine your metabolic type
Assess your Tongue Coat and Poo
Learn the importance of gut health including the latest info on the Gut Microbiome, how it affects your health, and how to improve it.
We will discuss food culture, myths, and the basics of what to do to maintain optimal digestive health.
This cleanse may be done in person, online, or a combination of both.
Dates can be flexible based on your schedule.
We will meet (either in person or via video) the day before the cleanse begins. In this 90 minute class, you’ll learn the basics of healthy digestion, what we’ll be doing on the cleanse, and most importantly, how you can assess the quality of your own metabolism. Initial meet up is Monday 4/1 at 5pm at Ageless Acupuncture.
There will be a mid-cleanse check in either in person or via zoom. Date/Time TBA
After the cleanse, we will meet for another 90 minute class in which you will learn what you can do to maintain the ground you covered. Closing meet up is Saturday 4/13 at 11am.
There is a pre-cleanse period in which it is recommended to remove potential toxin building substances from your diet. These include: meat, dairy, white flour, refined sugars, caffeine, and alcohol. Give yourself at least a week to wean from the items in this list. Additionally, if there is digestive upset regularly, you may wish to try eliminating gluten as well. Please note, it’s not advised to go to gluten free packaged products; instead, gravitate toward whole grains that are gluten free and other whole, fresh foods.
After the cleanse it is recommended to begin a rejuvenative herbal supplement and to maintain, as best as possible, the dietary hygiene practiced during the cleanse period.
The cleanse is $395 and includes guidance with an accessible, experienced health care practitioner. You won’t be going it alone. In addition, all herbs, supplements, and supplies will be included. You just pay for food.
Payment must be received in full before the first day of class, but a non-refundable deposit of $100 is due by March 21st.
Registration may be done online, over the phone, or in person. If you’d like to register over the phone, call 518-450-1945, or text to arrange a time to come into the clinic and sign up.
