In this 90 minute class we will explore the breath. You will learn what a healthy breath is from the traditions of western science, osteopathy, yoga, and Chinese medicine. We will observe our current breathing patterns and find out how our breath is linked to the five elements, the body, and the mind. Knowing this, we can bring mindfulness to our breathing in order to cultivate better physical health, and emotional well being. Participants will leave with a clear foundation in how to be present and comfortable with their breathing, and in how to establish an at home breath awareness practice.
